Is there a thread for talking about regular clothes designed for cycling? Found one for shoes, but would rather not start a new thread.

"Stylish cycling kit" doesn't really cover the brief, but people seem to ask about non-lycra there too.
Actually, I'm after some jeans and I'll ask in there and if I get flamed, I'll report back and let you know...

Whats the cheapest way to get two bikes, one of which is unrideable from Holloway to Balham?
-
• #80136
Depends how comfortable you are with discombobulating then strapping the unridable bike to your back...

Not remotely

uber xl?
-
• #80139
Overground? You can get from Highbury & Islington to Clapham High St on one train.

uber xl?
Citysprint small van is ~£30 based on station to station, which is the same or cheaper than UberXL and less likely to cause trouble with chain oil on the upholstery.

UberXL is quite pricey, thanks @mdcc_tester citysprint isnt bad
overground at non peak time might be the winner though...

I want to buy some sort of short photography course for someone as a present. Basically to help them improve and motivate them to do it more often / as a hobby than they currently do.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Easily accessible from Angel by foot or bus would be ideal.

Groupon or similar?
-
• #80144
Not always that crazy about using Groupon deals for presents as they often end up being a bit of a mission or budget.
City has some, but they are based in Soho and none of the courses look quite right.

Another question that maybe more suited to the resourceful hive mind.
I have an office chair I am trying to mend. The seat keeps dropping/lowering.
The easiest solution seems to be to get a pipe with a slit up the side and zip tie it on to the seat post. The rough dia is 280mm (a bit less).
Any other ideas?
And also if anyone has or knows where I could source an appropriate sized pipe for close to £0?
Cheers

Anyone know where I can get one of those little strap clips that you find on PAC bags for keeping the excess chest strap hooked to itself so it doesn't flap around?

Jubilee clip?
