I have an old one (a rare 'mild lo-pro' one, so probably another batch manufacturing blunder), ran Omniums on it in the past, and currently run SG75s, so it's not a problem for me. Yes, it is a budget frame, but it's shame that such a popular crank cannot now be used with it.
It was the purchasing experience of @larsenroad , and contributions from people like myself, that helped alert Dolan to the problem in the first place, which led to the non-compatibility notice being displayed on their site, so when people come to this thread for advice, I want to try to help.
Damn! That makes it even worse (if they haven't moved the seatstay bridge)...
Think I'm being a bit harsh... Nobody outside the company knows whether Omniumgate was Dolan's own doing (inadvertently), or if it was the result of a change of manufacturer (in the Far East), or the existing one choosing to make the chainstays differently.
There will be a technical drawing somewhere, that was either signed-off with the new dimensions, or was/has always been left dimensionless, allowing the manufacturer to exploit its ambiguity.
