Is a 2012 Trans Am with a Rockshox Lyric fork and Zee a good deal at £440? I'm sorely tempted to get (almost) up to date

As with all second hand MTB purchases it depends on how fucked it all is.
On the face of it, for a 26" hardtail with a silly fork and 1x 10 £440 isn't bad...

Doesn't look too fucked, but then I can only take words and pictures for granted as I'm not in London to have a look - unless anyone could volunteer to check it out?

29er, is it not?

• #9311
Nah, 26er version

It kind of fell apart while building the Dolan.
If i can get it back together and reshod with burly tyres tonight i might be able to race at the weekend.:)

Trying to work out the spec on this fork. No u-turn adjuster? Is it possible to tell from that top cap whether it's coil or air? I'm presuming it's a 2009/2010 model from the crown

Ah. Air I guess. Spring's been switched out then?

Looks like it's been rebuilt/modified.
The U-Turn should have a fold-over adjuster knob for travel settings in place of the air valve.Any TF tuned or PUSH stickers on it or any other Tuning house mark.
With out taking the cap off to look...... it's possible the U-turn has been removed, the coil spring is in place and a low pressure air assist is in place, or it could have been converted to solo air.The website used to be really helpful on tech things, worth a search https://www.sram.com/rockshox/family/lyrik

Just bleed the air valve before removing the top cap, it may stick in the ceiling otherwise. :)
I will have all 5 of them!
