The assessment there is warts and all but she is calming down and getting much better. She's an absolute cuddle monster too.
A word on having dogs off the lead, my lurcher got slammed into by a black lab and ended up with an abcess and in the vets for a few days (which he hates) and I do agree that that if you let them off the lead you need good levels of control, but also trying to keep your dog from meeting other dogs is bad for it. Also dogs feed off your energy, so if you are tense and stressed and shouting when others dogs come up, your dog will feel that way too, and then there is much greater chance of a flash point and a fight. Also dogs meeting off the lead are less likely to kick off then some dogs off the lead and some dogs on.
