Had to go to a Wetherspoons (I know) in the City (I know) yesterday. There was some City guy who was wearing a home-made poppy armband with his suit.

I hate this time of year.

You don't have to go? I've been on a self imposed ban of Wetherspoons since that cunt who owns it appeared on TV during run up to referendum.

Which makes it really hard to drink for cheepz in Canary Wharf.

Yeah, also on the Wetherspoon's patch, but I was with clients, so couldn't kick up a fuss. Was more concerned that in this Britain, it's acceptable to go to work with your own poppy fascist armband.

Go to Fine Line - not cheap, but better beer options than most of the other Wharfer hellholes.
