Spent months of trying different foods from junk right up to crazy exotic freezer stuff until we found something ours would reliably eat and seem to benefit from. Ended up that the grain free dried foods work best for ours, can't remember the brand but around £30/35 a bag which lasts her about 5 weeks. Poops are consistent and don't really smell, fur and general health is very good, especially for her age, few people believe she is as old as she is.
