    I completely agree with you about dogs off the lead and not under control. Slight diversion but I reckon all dog owners should spend time learning about dog body language before doing any socialisation. The number of times I hear 'he's friendly' when the dog is obviously stressed or defensive is maddening!

  • Yeah, he's good thanks, fortunately. I'm sure it will happen again and, unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it. I already avoid certain parks at certain times.

    "He's just playing", "he's never done that before", "your dog's in tact, that must have set him off", "he's normally OK, it must be your dog"... the usual...
