  • I love Vulpine products, but my rain jacket doesn't protect me from rain at all (like, not AT ALL) after less than 2 years.
I've tried washing it (non organic detergent) + tumble drying it, just as Vulpine recommends... but nothing changed.
I've bought Nikwax Cotton repoofer. Did not change anything.

I really love this jacket, but I stopped wearing it under the rain, which is a shame considering the pricetag and the name of the jacket :(

What about you "rain jackets" owners (mine is the "original" but the harrington is made with the same "epic cotton" fabric) ?

Didn't prevent me from buying other Vulpine stuff though ;)

  • My "rain" jacket is also now, completely porous. I've tried Vulpine recommendations too, to no avail. Additionally, the magnetic fasteners cause the collar to fold over the whole time and the dye has worn away where my bag touches it.

Considering I've worn it only a handful of times and even fewer of those in the actual rain, I consider it fairly shoddy, especially for the price.

  • I like mine, but it's completely useless in a hint of rain and I'd have probably been just as happy with a much cheaper standard Harrington style jacket from somewhere else, could've got it in black then too.
