so BH-59 barb had to be hammered in but BH-90 went in just with a thumb push .. brakes installed and bled and working fine .. will I die?

The ID of BH-59/63 and BH-90 aren't the same.

The hose needs to be crushed between the barb and olive. If the barb is too small, fluid might pass between the hose and barb and the olive might not hold the hose securely enough for it not to eventually slip out.
