Cheers. With compact drops and a 380 reach on my roadbike, I run a 100 stem. On my tourer it's 390 reach, 90 stem and the same bars. Similar on my cross bike.
So the thinking is, on a 29er: 420 reach, 60 stem. Maybe a 70 or 80 stem if I want a big bar sweep. Sounds like it should work right?
The concern was if I would want / need a stem shorter than any on the market... But I'm guessing that won't happen given the numbers above.
