Really smartly fabbed but I bet its a pig to cycle. Much like the original car then.

Gearbox? Not sure about the wheels, but other than that great!
Dat rack:

That's pretty rad, but why ruin it with the stuping lacing?
Anyone ridden the Pinion gearbox?

24 spoke as well!
Would those wheels be up to offroad loaded touring? -
• #13333
According to Rolfs website the pairing of the spokes means stronger wheels with fewer spokes. Summat to do with stress n higher tension. So I guess, yes would be the answer.

Are they 27.5+ wheels? What mudguards?
-
• #13336
Thats just how Rolf do it.
-
• #13337
Yes, 27.5+ wheels with 2.8" tyres. With H-59 Honjo fenders.

Naice! Classic guards on modern bike works surpisingly well here - good work
-
• #13343
aside from the bottle cages (just personal preference) that is very nice.
Guards look very well fitted too which is quite satisfying.

I like the ludicrous clashing. Courteous flapping at the back, too.

just finished this giant Surly Cross Check (1x11 winter tourer/gravel/path bike) for well, eh... a giant. Surly advises smaller but 47mm tyres fit fine, even with mudguards

Greetings functional folks,
I really like this thread and the beautiful bikes featured.
There is just too much fussing and fighting on the 'bike porn' thread and who wants all that sort of thing going on...
One of the things I like about cycling is when you are out at a race or event and you see people in different team kits, for me it's all greetings, how's it going, up-full unity stuff. Whereas in football if you see other rival supporters it's aggro and stupidness...
I like the Randonneur type bikes ( if I've got the wrong description here apologies, please be kind I'm just a cyclist not a spotter...) on here and my rig looks similar.
Please can anyone recommend top quality 26 inch rims that come in 32 hole, suitable for 1.35 width tyres?
As per attached - JAH LOVE,
Tim

I'm pretty sure they'll orange-in rather fast.

Perhaps the DT TK540? I would have recommended the old Mavic XM719, if you can get hold of some. Mavic don't seem to list it on their site anymore, but there must be a few left out there.
Both 19mm internal width, which is fine for a 1.35"/35mm tyre.
