  • Maybe I'm being overly harsh - but is there anyone out there who hasn't had to send an exposure back for something or other over extended use? I'd love to buy some but the number of refund and repair stories out there seem to be off the charts in comparison to other brands? Bloke in my office seems to be permanently on rotation between Evans and the Post Office with his - apparently Evans told him they were the 'most returned' items they stock. :(

  • Also, you'll only ever hear about the problems. People don't tend to preach about how little trouble they've had with a light compared to the number of people that preach about a problem...

  • Indeed, that's true for all manufacturers though - and I doubt Exposure would claim to have more users than some of their competitors, who don't seem to crop up as often in fault/repair threads. That maybe because cheaper light users just suck it up, keep quiet, and chuck them out though. I guess I'm possibly unfairly expecting an 'expensive' light to be more bullet-proof than a cheaper one though (I'm slightly paranoid about them failing at 1am in the middle of nowhere!), when in fact the opposite is probably true given they'll inevitably be more complex..
