Savour the wants.
Then smell the scandium.

Of all the biked I've owned, I miss my grey Mash the most. It simply brought the biggest smile to my face.
Haven't come across another one so I picked this up instead.
Not sure how I'm going to build it up yet, probably SG75 DD, Zen, Thomson bits, SLR and then share the wheel set with my Roberts (Royce to Open Pro CD). Almost exactly the same build as my previous Mash.
Going to have to drill that fork, though... Edinburgh is pretty hilly, innit.

Oh, and it has bottle mounts! Result!

How your old one is living:

Nice frame, nice kitchen
💯

• #3507
Ahh, yeah! That's it!
-
• #3508
Don't drill it!
-
• #3509
Er. Predrilled. Non?
-
• #3510
Yeah it's drilled but it's got a plug. What I meant is that I'll have to drill the plug out.
I need a brake. Edinburgh was no fun riding brakelezz when I first moved here.

What size? I think this is the best one since the OG.
-
• #3512
XXL which is a 64cm ctt seattube and 59ish effective top tube.

jesus
-
• #3514
got an XL but might go for L this time.
-
• #3515
it's got bloody bottle cages and you're being protective of putting a brake on it?
-
• #3516
More holes than a Swiss cheese
-
• #3517
Haha, there aren't a lot of OTP track frames that have a seattube (much) larger than 58cm ctt. If the Mash work frame came in an XXL I probably would have gone for that.
-
• #3518
the bike needs neither IMO. take the bolts out...le voila, no cages.
-
• #3519
get over it

• #3520
ironic

nice man, it's a rad frame! been riding mine about a month now and loving it. Omnium chainline seems to be out on it though so thinking of switching them up for some 75s too...and a tougher wheel set when I've got the money!

Nice man! SG75 DD's it is for me then!
Is that a 0 degree stem? Any chance you've got a side shot?
-
• #3523
yea 0 degree 100mm man, this is it side on.
ideally I'd probably stick a 90mm stem on and move saddle back a touch but I've been loving commuting and ragging about town on it.
ordered a couple of cages and and hope to get it on some longer rides out of london town in next few weeks.

Meesterknecht in Amsterdam had the new Bolt with 75DD built up about two weeks ago. Looked nice but I'd prefer the regular 75. More sexier imo

Reaaaaaaally want the new bolt. Struggling to justify having one!
Meh, estimated delivery of my Histo is monday now. I was hoping that I could hold the frame in my hands this week
