thing is, the njs was a bargain (front ended but frame ok) and has rainbow sparkles and what not. selling it would bring in not too much money and I will never find another one for that price.
plus, it is kind of fun to have an njs beater and getting all sensible with it.
I might end up just capitulating to n+1 and deal with the money with a strict diet of beans on toast. only complicating factor is a possible move abroad for which n-1 would make sense. as it now stands im just not riding the viv and I want to change that. lets sleep on it. thanks for the suggestions oh dear forumengers.

If money's the issue I'd sell the NJS and get a Pompino, you'll probably have some spare change for mudguards then
