  • help me remember boyzandgirlz. more rake = more trail = slower steering right?

I'm experimenting with n-1 to end up with n=n and putting mudguards on the njs. more rake with road fork would mean less toe overlap with more clearance for bigger tyres. also, less aggressive geometry for easier road riding?

also, whats the solution for allen key brake fitting and mudguard "eye" (its too small for the bolt).
drill? theres also a problem saver innit? I solved it back then with a nut conversion set for my tektro brake but now the drop is too big, also for the other road fork I have lying around. also, ild like to keep the da 7410 brake on it to keep the japanese theme.

I would search if my search fu was a bit better with microcosm but it justIisnt working on mobile. many thanks in advance.

  • There's a great bicycle trail calculator on the interwebs if you wanna experiment. Low trail means steering feels 'quicker', high trail feels generally more stable but there's lots of articles on that too if you wanna read up

More rake = less trail = faster steering.
