Clearly spamming my own thread now, have ordered the stem, much shiny, and having a look at an Easton Monkeylite that has already been inserted into a quill and so has some insertion scratches which the seller considers cosmetic. My understanding with carbon that as long as the weave isn't scratched it should still be solid. Anyone with greater carbon experience that me vouching for that?
