If you wanna run a 45 mm tyre on a 15 mm internal rim that's fine by me but don't expect it to be good. Cornering will suck (Open Pro's are already bad with 32s in my experience) and then there's the possibility (albeit small) of the tyre rolling of the rim. Heck people don't even use 23s on 15 mm internal anymore
I wouldn't buy narrow rims if i was gonna use 35+mm tires, however if said rims already exists, no reason not to use 'em. Atleast i've never encountered any issues with 42c + open pro combo.
