Going to take a while, the storage technology isn't there yet.
Of course nuclear is also an option in the meantime, along with hydrogen cars but market/supply chain issues work against it. A strong government could stimulate this. Oh if only the UK gov was as busy with that as selling weapons abroad ;)

"At the time, Alliston was riding a black carbon-framed 'Planet X' bike, which had a fixed rear wheel pedal cycle, it is claimed... Paul Jarvis, prosecuting, told the Old Bailey today the issues would be 'the condition of the bike, whether it ought to have been fixed with a brake to the front wheel'."
(very sad, but not at all comparing the daily mail to "news")

Hmm, I had a feeling the bike would be a key point.

'teresa may doesn't have the answers yet'
the BBC political editor there, making excuses for the know-nothing leader of the tory party. Maybe they should have a best of 3?

i still am baffled (coming from the otherside if the channel) that this kid is shown without a bar, fully named and all, before proven guilty.
hell, in the netherlands even AFTER people are legally convicted they tend to be shown with a bar and disguised name (i.e. Volkert van der G. who killed politician Pim Fortuyn).this kid is nineteen; even if he is acquitted, he will be on the interwebz for everybody to google and visually verify. what about future employers, GF/BFs, inlaws?!
you lot are a bit wierd..

As a fellow Dutchie I agree, innocent until proven guilty! I don't know why the UK/USA don't follow that principle.
Careful now, us Dutch are weird too, no? :P

Open Justice principle - for justice to be done it must be seen to be done. So in public. Unless they are rich and can get a superinjunction of course.

But why do you have to name someone? Anonymizing isn't a ban on reporting...

Ched Evans not guilty. The case will have serious repercussions after the woman's sexual history was dragged into court by witnesses who were offered inducements by Evan's fiancee.
