Life for urban foxes is often brutal and short. The first pic was taken in February this year, the second was taken today. The same animal.

Poor bastard.

I can't see her making it through the winter. But life goes on and she still beat her descendents to the sausages today.

Poor wee dude @WillMelling, have you considered changing his feed?

Urban foxes' life expectancy is less than two years. They are gorgeous and fascinating but there's no point being sentimental. They live, they die, they eat cheap sausages.
