Any ideas if you buy RS685s now is there still a chance you'd get the early ones with the 'baggy' hood rubber - or has that long since been resolved and largely out of circulation? (I gather you may not find out until you've stretched them for fitting which would make them a pain to return..)

For what it's worth I got baggy hood model which got worse after the 2nd bleed (and complained about it on disc brake thread), emailed mantel and they were very helpful, asked for a pic and then sent me out warranty replacement hoods that have been fine so far.

Thanks both. From what I gather, fitting the replacement hoods involves a full brake re-installation?
