Essential wintet kit:
- Bib tights without a pad - wear over summer bibs
- Leg warmers and arm warmers for warmer days.
- Defeet woolie bootie 6" socks
- Waterproof jacket (I've ended up with gore paclite and Rapha race cape - either would be fine)
- Baselayers - thin and merino
- Cheap windproof gilet
- Defeet gloves - cheapo ones
- Craft lobster gloves.
- Long sleeved jerseys
- Overshoes - Pro something or other
- over socks - defeet
- Rapha merino neck buff thingy
- Thin Icebreaker merino hat
- Castelli thermo headband things
- GABBA JERSEY
Pretty much covers it. My luxury item is a Castelli softshell winter jacket thing - for the really cold days.

No neoprene gloves. I have a pair which I wear once a winter and realise how much I hate them. Just just turn your hands in big pink raisins immediately which get slowly chewed to bits by the seams.

Toe covers I sometimes wear under oversocks when it's cold.
