The SISL2 cranks are a pain in the ass to make. Hollowgram Si much less so. So if they expect to sell a lot of a particular model it will get the Hollowgram Si or even the Si crank.
On that note, it's a shame the non hollow Si crank doesn't look as nice as its hollowgram siblings, because once you've got one, you are kinda suck with it.

I should have clarified - would have expected the SISL2 cranks to be on the DA model, with SI or even and SISL rebirth on Ultegra.
