Why is it that SRAM derailleurs need a SRAM-specific braze-on adaptor for frames without a front mech hanger?
Or are the bike shop lying to me and making me wait for nothing?
Is there anywhere I could get one in London today? Tried everywhere I can think of but I've come up short.

Because generic ones don't have the screw stop for chain catcher adjustment.

Actually actually? You've compared the two?

If you have the original washer for the derailleur with the stop for the grub screw, you can use a generic band on adapter with a curved plate, like the m:part, just not ones with a flat back

Cheers for that. I guess I'm not going to get anything to them now quicker than they'll get the SRAM one. They said they were ordering it on Thursday but apparently it still wasn't there today.

Both are excellent, go for the cheapest.

I find drinking it right before boarding the plane is the best way.

She should've poured some of the floor 'for her homies' and saved herself some trouble.

Some hose:

And a bleeding kit
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/magura-mini-service-kit/rp-prod208You might get away with just buying the hose and some oil if you're prepared to improvise the bleeding.

Would anyone like to sign a petition to save the Greenway coffee shop becoming another Nerocostabucks?
-

Hmm. Oil is cheap - may try the improv route

Just go tesco they have wine from Austrialia.
-
• #79322
Can't you send wine like flowers, ie from a store in London a la FTD?
-
• #79323
You can send plonk with flowers with Interflora. Trying to find a bunch of flowers without a bottle of wine to send to someone who might or might not be pregnant (hence the reason for the flowers) proved surprisingly hard..

is this what you do after every date?
-
• #79325
I haven't been on a date for over 20 years, so that's tricky to answer. The flowers were for my sister, and for the avoidance of doubt I'm absolutely definitely not the potential father. I may live near the Norfolk border, but I was born in London.
BMX stuff.
