Given you're nearby - my sister and a few friends have just started a club in Nunhead. Only on facebook for now, but look for 'Runhead AC'
Pretty informal, starting small and trying to use local shops - last Tuesday evening of the month start from The Beer Shop, 5k-ish run and finish with a few beers and decent pizza delivered from Four Hundred Rabbits to The Beer Shop -

Wimbledon Common parkrun is going to be a different course again this week. They're still sorting out the hornet's nest that's stopping people using the normal course.

That was damp. Good to see the local MP there. Seemed like a pretty good turnout overall.
I think i managed to make it under 17 minutes as well, things continue moving in the right direction.

Self supported Mara route came up 1 mile short but that's easily fixed for next time. Early start didn't happen then got carried away and set off way too fast...
Miles 15-20 were tough miles 20plus weren't pretty at all. Yesterday's running definitely added to fatigue and I wasn't fussed about finding another mile at the end, time on feet was about as expected.
Still, it's done and reminder of need to go steady probably quite useful lesson at this point in time.
Pint of cheapo choco-milk I feel 100x better already.

MP for Dulwich came to parkrun this morning, she did a little speech and then took part. Seems nice, glad I voted for her the day I moved out of her constituency.
I literally never improve at running, I'm almost impressed at my consistency and inability to get better. Gah.

It'll come... maybe try changing your approach though?
E.g. A move to Low Intensity & Higher Volume has made it possible for me to run further, albeit slower, however goal was further not faster...

I just went back to letsrun for that. Going to save the full debrief for tomorrow.

There's 600 odd pages on letsrun!
Some cleverly crafted words from Skins, doubt they are backing up their concern for Robs well being with actual cash anymore though.
Thrown him under the RV. -

Does anyone on here do the parkrun in either Southwark or Mile end?

It was interesting and heart wrenching reading about his death spiral, when the guy from Berkley was observing.

I didn't do parkrun this weekend as I was busy running up and falling down some rather large hills in the Lake District.

I've done Southwark a few times. I like to coordinate with a trip to Decathlon afterwards.

I could spend hours in Decathlon.
Being able to zoom around on the scooters is one thing but last time I went someone was trying out the archery stuff in the store.
Can anyone recommend a good sports massage therapist? I need a good pounding.
