You and your shortcuts.
SR is four rides.
-
• #5778
Had to be 4 x Crackpot. Mind you would instantly go to heaven then.
-
• #5779
4 x 1200?
-
• #5780
I got the GPX for that. Meant to be a bit hard.
Maybe I could ride it once and see how it goes then worry about the next 3 rides.
Only have to do them in a year right? But this year is now gone. -

The new season/year starts the day after tomorrow.

But this year is now gone.
Don't use that as an excuse - there's another one starting straight afterwards :-)

So this 'season' I did 3x600, 2x300, 8x200:
HAYES (LOMBARDY RETAIL PARK) 200 04 Oct 2 0 0

BEACONSFIELD, Buckinghamshire, HP9 2SE 207 05 Dec 2 0 1,100
OXFORD 206 02 Jan 2 0 1,800
AYLESBURY,Buckinghamshire, HP20 1UR 200 20 Feb 2 0 1,744
CHURCHEND,Dunmow, Essex 200 12 Mar 2 0 0
KEW BRIDGE OR LAMBOURN 208 28 Mar 2 0 0
POOLE 300 02 Apr 3 4.5 4,400

PADIHAM, Lancashire 603 11 Jun 6 7.75 7,800
LEIGHTON BUZZARD 600 09 Jul 6 0 5,600
HUNGERFORD, Berks 305 24 Sep 3 1.5 2,600
HAYES (LOMBARDY RETAIL PARK) 200 25 Sep 2 0 0Does this mean I did an SR (two 600s instead of 400 and 600)? Which would mean I've done an SR, PBP, then this SR?

I tried to ride the Buzzard 600k at xmas last year but had the GPS failure so aborted after 400-something k so riding long during winter isn't too much hassle, it depends on conditions and motivation.
Oh, I'll be in Oz for a couple of weeks in December - can I do something funky in terms of an international SR?
-
• #5787
SR yes. If you ride a 600 starting Friday evening before midnight you Hyper SR.
You Birnie innit?

The Brevet 25000 award was instituted in 1991 and requires a
Paris-Brest-Parisor London-Edinburgh-London, another event of 1300 km or over, a 1000 km, a 24 hour team ride, threeSuper-Randonneur series, plus any BR or BRM events to a total of 25,000 km, all ridden within a 6 year period. Events prior to 1991 are not accepted. So I've not done most of it.

• #5789
I'm not worried about riding a Hyper watsit this year. I was just going to start knocking off requirements for this Brevet 25000 and you mentioned a Hyper AAA SR.
-
• #5790
BOOM. You actually AAA SR one 600 or longer short of an AAA Hyper for this season.
-
• #5791
I'm one AAA 600 short of a Hyper AAA SR? If I do it do I get to (not) claim a badge? :)
Is that something I should do? I'm going to go with 'no' unless you magic up a AAA 600k that starts in Ealing tomorrow night.
-
• #5792
Hyper AAA is purely AUK UK.

Do Perms in other countries count for SR series?
I found some Perms in Victoria I could try:
http://www.audax.org.au/public/images/stories/regions/Victoria/permanents.pdf
ie you do the Mille Penines you only need
3 x 600 (or longer) for SR.
an arrow for Brevet 5000
;-)
