Please resubmit at original resolution, it will make the raster-vector conversion on the engravers' workstation more accurate.

Stem cap arrived Friday, outer diameter matches Nitto stem perfectly. Not sure if I'll polish it or not, as it is, it matches the campag headset's finish...
Anyway, great bit for my never ending road bike project! Many thanks.

(Do I need some kind of paste between carbon steerer and steel stem? Can't wait to finish that bike bought tork wrench specifically for that fork, want to try it! My first carbon steerer ever)

No, there's more than enough grip without it. If your fork resists enough handlebar input torque to make it move, you have already crashed.

I wasn't concerned about grip, more about dry assembly between steel and carbon, some kind of grease, but chemically friendly with carbon?

Dry is fine, but carbon assembly paste won't do any harm if it puts your mind at rest.
