ti bikes normally look pretty slow/mamil /dull - that thing looks fast

Thanks. compared to the carbon frame i had before this is just as fast, but more than anything i love how it feels and rides. Even with those carbon wheels/spokes/hubs I feel the Ti soaks it up well.

Looks good. Is that 52/34 chainrings fitted? If so how well does it shift?

Finally took some pictures of my titanium daily ride. Unfortunately origin of the frame is unknown, it was powdercoated red and branded as Diamant. Cable stoppers at 1" headtube suggest some early '90s? I've seen some almost identical frame branded as Van Tuyl.

Framebuilder is a mystery, but whoever he is he did an amazing job with this one. Columbus METAX Stainless tubing.

Searching for some OTR frames in Reynolds 953/931 led me to Gosforth. I believe they source the frames from Ora Engineering, the same people who produce for Genesis, Rikelau etc.

A pleasure to deal with, so I thought it would be good to try and raise their profile a little...

I stumbled across Gosforth on the 'net a while back and thought their frames looked rather tasty. Your pics do nothing to dispel that thought. Nice.

Its a 2014 frame. Think they stopped production in 2015 and it arrived nahbs in 2013 so rather short-lived revival for the "extralight". Its not really that light btw despite butted tubes etc but its a very nice ride.

I like that pic for some reason, or perhaps it was the ride i really liked..

Well, three years later and... I still have the same frame, no breaks (but brakes of course) and I'm loving it's multiple personality disorder:-)
As it's a VN Amazon Cross it will take pretty big tyres and the discs mean I can play about with wheel sizes.
Since first getting it I have 'upgraded' a few bits which are in serious danger of being a forum check list!
Hydro discs, check.
SMP. check.
650B, check.
Stupidly low pressures, check;-P

And, whilst I've mostly been doing long rides on it with relatively lightweight 700c's (Pacenti SL25 on Bitex) at which it excels, even when I don't. As the nights are drawing in, and because I've really liked the idea for a while ... I got a Pelago for bombing around town and dragging stuff from work to home and vice versa. It's great fun and way more versatile than I thought it would be. Oh and a doddle to install.

Current guise is Kinesis CX forks with the Pelago on, 650B wheels (Shimano 505 hubs on DT Swiss XR331) with Schwalbe 2" Big Bens (£10 each:-) at 30 PSI for magic carpet ride.
It sounds hilarious but feels great. Not exactly fast! But once up to speed it's a proper giggle:-)
When the weather finally turns bad (so far October is being lovely) I'll chuck some guards on it.

When I want to go out for a day ride I just swap out the forks, to Enigma full carbon disc (lower axle to crown) and my Pacenti's. Bike turns back into a fun, responsive road bike.

It's definitely confused but a laugh all the same, makes me smile loads.
