Short stem to compensate for the long reach of hydro shifters?
That's just a placeholder that came with the frame.
Reach is 405, exactly the same as my road bike (with a 130mm stem) but will come down to 120mm, maybe 110 to accommodate a less aggressive position and yeah, the lengthy shifters.
