^I hung on to a decrepit 5s for three years in order not to get a 6 when the 7 was due... i think i might just get a 6 now. *facepalm.
I got a 5S on contract when the 6 was launched as I didn't fancy a larger phone at the time. Not sure what I'm going to do now - the 5S is still ticking along ok, so I may just go sim only. If iOS10 nobbles it I may consider a SE.
I wonder if Apple et al will eventually move away from the yearly update ? Seems like there's less and less reasons to upgrade each time. Revisions seem to be more targeted at generating extra revenue streams (apple pay, headphones etc) then providing any benefit to the customer outside of better camera/screen/cpu
