I'm thinking about dumping my hard drive from my MBP's optical slot and sticking another SSD in there, any reason that might be a bad idea?

Google Wolfpack external gpu. I'll try and link when not on mobile. It's a simple hardware and software external gpu solution for both windows and Mac. Currently only on kickstarter but already way past their goal.

I've already got an SSD in the old HD slot, thinking about doubling up...

I'd rather have a monitor / GPU solution in one anyway. I love the idea of just having one cable plugged into the Macbook for charging, screen, more power & all my desktop peripherals.

I've just sent a group email from my mac, via a hotmail account, using the Bcc function.
I immediately got an email from one of the recipients, telling me that the whole contact list had gone out to everyone.
I blamed fat fingers at first, but it turns out this is a known issue. If an email has a blank "to" bar, some email handling systems automatically fill it from the cc or bcc fields.
I'm waiting for a helpline chat to sort it, but the university of google is telling me to send emails like that to myself, so that the top line isn't blank.
Anyone got any ideas?

It's a bit low... but then I have a lot against this company after my 1 and only experience with them.

And it seems people are already attacking them on their FB page for actively asking for a side by side comparison...

Pretty harsh words on The Verge...

"Another thing I tried: the new home button, which uses a "taptic engine" to give you physical feedback when you press it — it's pressure sensitive, too, so it can tell if you really mean to press it or just tap it. And it's awful. On a MacBook trackpad, you get this uncanny feeling that you're actually hitting a button. On the iPhone, the whole bottom of the phone just sort of "kicks." It's not bad haptics like you remember, with weird vibration, it's just a new kind of bad haptics. It doesn't feel like a button at all. It's a bummer."

replacing a button with something else that isn't a button but tried to feel like a button was never going to go well.

I really like my iphone 6 but there's no chance I'm buying a phone that doesn't have a headphone socket.

I think the button thing is just laying the groundwork for a phone that is all screen.

^I hung on to a decrepit 5s for three years in order not to get a 6 when the 7 was due... i think i might just get a 6 now. *facepalm.

The 6s+ is awesome though.

Bought mine knowing the 7 was coming.

Takes great photos while riding my bike, and the battery lasts fecking ages if I'm not Pokemoning.
