Don't worry, I've only got 370 miles on my T3 this year.

will be used for maybe 300 mile/year
Ride the 24H, that should bump it up a bit.

@Sanddancer What did you get?

I've only got 370 miles on my T3 this year
I have 1905 timed miles on mine since I bought it, probably around 3000 total with warm-ups, occasional training rides and DNFs

• #14231
excluding turbo time I've put 2,500km on my TT bike since I bought it in March '15
which doesn't seem like very much, but then there's probably at least that again in turbo time...

Quality > Quantity.

No. Specificity.
Remember when I was racing 12s and 24s I was also setting club records :)
-
• #14235
I've raced 2 open 10s, 3 50s and a 100. That's it!

Maybe time to join a new club and take their records. And repeat.
-
• #14237
Only competed in 4 opens this year: 2 PBs. Will be onto my third bike by the year-end.....

I only care about PBs so there's no much point moving clubs. I'd just be going for PBs again and if they were club recs, bonus. 18min 10, 49min 25 and 300mi 12hr would be nice to have but will have to wait and see how next year pans out. TABR first and foremost.

Was there a forum BBAR table?

I'm claiming the low TT mileage challenge:
1 x club 10
1 x 50, DNF'd after 12 miles -
• #14244
If you can do an 18min 10, you can do a 47min 25.

There still is. Search this thread for "BBAR"

By "49" I just mean anything in the 40s.

From a sample of 96 riders who've done an 18:
46.xx - 4
47.xx - 15
48.xx - 28
49.xx - 23 -

That cheap 58cm 2014 P3 that was on ebay.
It's funny, I'm only really getting into TTs because my favoured type of riding (130-140 mile road rides with as much climbing as possible) doesn't fit with my new lifestyle; 14 month old baby, another on the way, plus part-time degree. I was sick of missing club runs, weekends out and missing commutes because work stuff. So now it's 90 minute 4am turbo sessions and a focus on a weekly ride that takes less than half an hour. Figured a winter of hard training and was considering the idea of a coach. I'd bookmarked a guy from Training Peaks that looked good and when the frame turned up, it transpires that he's the guy I bought it from.

Was that the one which had been in a crash?
My TT frame arrived yesterday! I guess that means I'm now committed, at least in spring once I've had time to regain proper fitness and to slowly build the bike.
It's all a bit frightning...everyone's been telling me for ages that I'd be a natural TT'er ,but I have no idea what to expect. I'm currently resisting the urge to bankrupt myself building a bike that's worth more than all my others combined, yet will be used for maybe 300 mile/year, and that's being optimistic.
