Had an amazing seafood ravioli in lecce, prawns, roe and scallops,beautiful and just the right size, big enough to fill you up, small enough to,see you honk you could have done with a bit more...
Gonna eT as much seafood and gelato as possible whilst I'm in puglia.

Lecce - OMG what a wonderful place/region - so laid back. Daughter #1 studied there so I often visited. The coastline of Puglia - gorgeous.

Has anyone been to El Rancho de Lalo is Brixton? I've been twice now and it's seriously, seriously good. Also, it's really hard to finish their mammoth servings.

Leave some on the tree as well to ensure the fig wasps breed and can pollinate next year.

On the subject of bubbling cauldrons... I made a massive pot of black beans yesterday, simmered the dry beans for 3+ hours with an onion, lots of garlic, a chilli and a few spices... Best beans I've ever cooked, going into some tacos tonight... Nom...
