  • What was the redfixeh you did the not-medium-gear TT on?

  • Just 3 for me:

    Lynskey Ti Road bike
    SS commuter
Surly Cross Check touring type rig

3 others in the shed for the rest of the family - a Dawes, a Jamis and a Pinnacle.

  • Oh yeah, the Macinato. Make that 18 then.

  • I'm here to help.

  • Worried now that there are others I've forgotten...

  • Currently 1 (one), pared down from 8 over the last 2 years. Sometimes the things you own start to own you.

    I'm actually seething with jealousy

  • Impressive stuff!
@bikes_knob reducing from 8 to only 1 is almost equally impressive. I definitely couldn't do it. And there's some truth to that statement...

  • Total 22 between 2 people, GF has 8.

    My complete bikes:

    1. BTR Bantam polo bike
    2. On-One Fatty (rigid,1x10)
    3. Salsa Juan Solo v2 Scandium+Carbon rigid SS (Bushnell) with Pace RC31 fork and lots of stem
    4. On-One 456Evo raw rigid gnartourer
    5. "Trekker" folding shopper, SA 3sp, bmx knobblies, chromed 8" rise bars off a Triumph Bonneville, Fizik Enduro saddle, Onza transparent squeally pads, 2x Clunker Classic survivor.
    6. Mielec Mashalike, needs work as rear hub has chewed inner face of dropouts
    7. Corrado 853ProTeam track, originallu Alistair Rutherford's Scottish Team issue from Kuala Lumpur Commonweath Games.
    8. Concorde 753 road bike, now with moustache bars, needs a 4mm stepped ferrule, bartape and saddle to finish.
    9. Trice tadpole recumbent. Handed down from my uncle when he retired and got a Salsa Fargo. Rose joined front, triple x 8sp cassette x 2sp hub. Relaxing, not fast, unpleasant in traffic and there's nowhere much to ride it round here away from traffic

    My others:

    1. Identiti Dr Jekyll with Marzocchi Dirt Jump forks. Needs some drivetrain and shifters.
    2. GT Aggressor Chopper, has forfeited parts.
    3. Saracen 26" trials frame, Onza TuffGuy fork. Heavy. Bought to build a small polo loaner but can't work out the proper seatpost size since it arrived pinched down to a 27.2.
    4. GT LTS5. Currently home to some Shiver DC forks. Long term fatbike engineering pipedream.
    5. Voodoo Canzo full sus. blind eBay purchase was meant to be GF's new more gnarly bike. Shocks in good condition but rocker pivot threads are knackered on one side, so needs frameswap.
  • Litespeed Carbon (road)
    Cannondale CX
    Bullitt (cargo)
    GT beach cruiser

Plus a couple of Islabikes for the nippers.

Highly embarrassing, not a fixed or a single speed amongst them at the moment. Justin Burls is overdue a visit.

  • Six: nice fixed, commuter fixed, road, 90s MTB, SS MTB, BMX

  • This thread makes me feel better!

    50's British steel
    90's Italian steel
    Bling fixed
    Best bike Italian carbon
    Trainer / commuter
    Pub beater
    Cargo
    My wife's bike (a beater)
    Sons bike
Daughter balance bike if that counts!

    = 10

  • interesting thread but how do I prevent this from being read by my wife?

    In alphabetical order:

    Breezer Thunder mtb (1995)
    Breezer Venturi racebike (1996)
Carrera Podium Columbus EL OS "Team Carrera" (1993)
    Carrera Podium Columbus Neutron
    Carrera Podium (frameset)
    Cinelli Supercorsa (1996)
    Ciöcc Falco (frameset 1998)
    Colnago Master 1991
    Colnago Master 1998
    Colnago Master 1998 (frameset)
    Colnago Master Alloy mtb (1995)
    Concorde Verona CX bike
    Coppi "Lugano 53" (1996)
    Denti Master (1988 approx.)
Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra "Stuttgart" (1988/89)
Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra "Hitachi" (1988/89)
    Eddy Merckx Professional (1982)
    Gios Compact Pro Evolution (1994)
    Look KG243 (1998)
    Panasonic PR6000 (frameset)
    Ritchey P Team mtb (2014)
    Trek T1 track bike
    Vitus 787

so that makes 23; framesets are bikes that need to be build (parts somewhere in boxes) once I have a more spatious house...

  • This thread makes me feel better!

That's basically why I started it ;) Veloholics Anonymous...

    @WimVDD
    Enviable collection!

  • P5 to replace the P2?

  • No. P2 to be used on sporting courses, P5 for drag strip dual carriageway affairs.

  • Only 3 these days. Quite pleased with that.

    Dolan Df3 for track
Canyon Ultimate AL for pub, dirty training and commutes
    Cervelo r5 for nice times

  • 4

    1. Workhorse fixed-gear
    2. Tarck. For crits and stuff
    3. Road bike
    4. All-around bike, old-MTB-turned-rando
  • 1 Langster fixie
    2 Fuji classic fixie
    3 brother track fixie
4 kona paddy wagon single speed
    5 kona paddy wagon fixie
    6 bianchi fixie
    7 gitane fixie
    8 boardman fixie
9 single speed mountain bike cotic roadrat
    10 pompino singlespeed

  • Not keen on gears?

  • Peugeot 753 - trying to sell!

    Oh yes? thread?

  • Lovely, too small :(

  • Could say that
getting rid of the lot at some stage and going down to 1 X fixie
    Not sure what yet !

  • 1 supersix evo, for going fast
1 giant tcx, for going off road
1 cinelli mash, for going pub

hopefully I'm going to turn the Giant in to a going far / gnarmac / road+ bikepacking thingy, plus cross racing, eventually to be split in to a custom steel all road tourer and a proper cross ripper.

will also replace the broken Supersix with a new HM frame with custom paint, plus wanker carbon wheels and eTap and maybes power? will use the fucked Supersix for crits (lol).

Mash will be painted and have dickhead wheels thrown at it for "fixed crits" and mooching about, plus the Corima for track (I want a disc to for maximum arsehole points), and I'll get something fun for commutering / rack lyfe / pub bike. I like the look of maybe that cheap Marin 27.5+ for that.

    ¯_(ツ)_/¯
