OK. Smith's team either can't be arsed or are completely clueless.
At the beginning every appearance seemed to have him flanked by bored teenagers resentfully holding placards with his name and/or was staged to look as unimpressive as possible. Any campaign manager worth their salt wouldn't allow such pathetic scenes to take place in front of a camera, not once, let alone repeatedly for the start of the campaign.
Now someone's lent him a battlebus. They've stuck his picture on the back. He is not the largest figure in the image, a seam runs right through his face (accentuating a likeness he has to a resident of Royston Vasey), the next most prominent figure is giving him an odd look, there are two figures with their heads disconcertingly bisected and there is a disembodied hand giving him a wank. It's embarrassingly badly executed.
Are they trying to make him look bad?
Take a look at @owensmith2016's Tweet: https://twitter.com/owensmith2016/status/770541863979913216?s=09

comments I made on social media including 'on'!! WAFC!!
They've got you bang to rights there, obviously. The fixie-skidder entryism was getting out of hand.

It won't matter as long as they exclude Eightball and his ilk.

A show of loyalty from Emily Thornberry, which I suppose is nice for the reason alone that there's not a lot of it about from 'senior' figures in the Labour Party.

The phone bank app was devised by a group called Coders for Corbyn. They have released a “toolkit” for volunteers to spread the message, including a database of Corbyn-themed emojis, called “Jeremojis”, and a Twitter tool to automatically block fake accounts purporting to be those of Corbyn supporters.
This is great, now the Labour Party can identify those angling for a ban even more easily. Just spot the Jeremojis.

This looks like something from the memes thread.
As someone who once signed off a vinyl wrap for a bus, I reckon they didn't think about the fact a coach is not totally smooth or it wasn't shown on the artwork/template, which it should have been.
The suspensions stuff is nuts. @EB are you just an 'ordinary' party member? You're not a councillor, a very active Corbyn campaigner, in some people's front of judea type splinter cell or a semi-pro Twitter troll? Not that any of those things would justify it, I'm just interested...

I'm just an ordinary member - I did some Remain leafleting for the local Labour MP. I have clicked on the 'I'm not voting for you pal' link on numerous Owen Smith mailers. I'm on the Momentum campaigners volunteer list.

Corbyn's still busy proving that he's unelectable:
Will he ever learn?
-
• #1395
I don't that really proves he's less unelectable (at a general election vs a membership vote).
-
• #1396
It proves (or at least, claims) he's more electable amongst Labour supporters than before, so, in theory, is becoming more electable overall. But they're all entryist Trots like EB, so not real Labour supporters.

It was a joke. :)

Lots more poll findings here:
1 - Corbyn’s key strength is that he is seen as “principled”. Some 76% of the Labour selectorate said they saw him this way. He also scored well for honesty (64%) and for “shares my political outlook” 58%. But only 33% of the Labour selectorate as a whole said he was likely to lead the party to victory at the election, and only 35% said he was competent.
People planning to vote for Corbyn in the contest were more likely to rate his competence and electability, but even amongst this group only 56% said he was likely to lead the party to victory, and only 60% said he was competent.

They have 40 days to respond. Voting finishes in 22 days.
