Yes and no, never saw v-brakes I liked too much the look of, saying that some mini Vs are quite attractive, like on @eyebrows 's fixed/cx bike I saw the other day, trp cx 8.4 (if I'm correct assuming they are mini)... They look really good, nicely machined...
But money goes towards tandem at the moment, and i never had to complain about the cantis, although I realise there's room for improvement here...

Looks great with those, have you considered full sized v brakes as you have bar end shifters?
