"Khan, who backs Owen Smith, won mayoralty by standing on platform with Corbyn"
This is amazing. Khan adroitly declined to share a platform with Corbyn duting his Mayoral campaign. Two public appearances were cancelled. This is partly why he won, standing as his own man, distanced from the chaos in the party. He was also helped alot by Goldsmith's racism.

This. I personally would never have voted for a tory in any case, but there was a dearth of people around that thought that there was really a need for another millionaire (billionaire?) to be gifted power, especially one who was just so nasty.
Khan seems like a good man, but the tories really messed their candidate choice up and gave him an easy ride. In any case, saying that he was in because of Corbyn is, I think, revisionism (of which there seems to be a lot around at the minute).
Do you mean Smith/Khan has lost your vote?
