Props due. I bought the 28c Michelin Pro 4 Endurances and so far I'm really pleased. They seem to roll pretty quick, nice and grippy and aren't exactly heavy. I haven't much experience with other 28mm tyres to compare to but the certainly feel nice than 25mm durano plus.

You're welcome! I should have waited for those to come out as they're exactly what I've been looking for, but I ended up with the 25c Service Course version and they're great too. It was either buy now or stick with the Marathon+ I had on...
What width are they coming up? I found the 25c is coming up on the wide side. -

I've not measured actually but they come up very round on my 19mm internal wheels

Copped a pair of Ones on Ribble this weekend, with 28mins left of their 20% off deal. £37 a pair!
In your face, Evans.

28mm road tubeless with best puncture protection?
-
• #3583
Just bought a pair of Schwalbe Ones (25c tho) as suggested up there ^
As far as I have read they are a good mix between low rolling resistance and puncture protection.
In Denmark your other option in that size is probably gp4000sII although I am not sure if tubeless. Why do you even want tubeless for road riding? -

I have tubeless ready wheels but am running Durano Plus atm.
Curious to see if I could find a reasonably puncture resistant tubeless setup.

I'm sold! After smashing my arm I've been contemplating what I can do to lesson the vibrations etc so bigger tires are on my list!

Tubeless thread >>>>>>
Seriously, when you see how many times a tubeless tyre reseals and think that each time it would have been a roadside puncture it is a no brained.

dingus, can't decide now between Schwalbe one twin pack or Michelin pro4 endurance.

Anyone riding Kojaks tubeless?

Tubes or tubeless?
-
• #3590
My cx wheels run tubeless and it is a dream. I have access to compressor and have no issues setting up tubeless myself, but for road riding I find it much easier to run inner tubes as I change tyres fairly often never really have issues with inners.

Go for the tubeless setup Rasmus, but you might struggle setting it up without compressed air.

Why do you want puncture resistant when you have tubeless?

Tubes. Think I'll get pro4s as interwebs says they offer more protection. £22 including free tube at CR.

Hmm... well that article explains why my Compass tyres have been leaking sealant from odd places and randomly deflating :/
Might start a "compass: mediocre but a bit pricey..." thread

pro 4 endurance are good. I've not yet had to test their puncture resistance. The Schwalbe Pro's are race tyres, very quick and feel great but not that hard wearing. Tubeless will nearly eliminate punctures anyway.

Should Vittoria Open Corsa Graphene 23C be suitable for slightly gritty roads and wet weather? Rode with friend through the rain on Saturday around Surrey Hills. He got two rear punctures from tiny sharp pieces of gravel but on the third time in the first 15K the tube exploded and tore through the tyre - I had to go buy him a Conti 4 season so we could complete the ride. He's 77KG. They feel pretty thin and soft - is this normal or bad luck? We do think he might have been over-inflating due to dodgy gauge on pump.

I've had mine for about.. 1500-2000 miles maybe and they've started to wear pretty badly. The rear will definitely need replacing soon as it's flatted twice in two weeks for the first time. They are amazing tyres, particularly at 50-55 psi on 25mm rims (25c tyres), but the wear rate is as bad as I'd heard. Having said that, I've ridden them in pretty appalling conditions like 25 miles of gravel/rock road at the start of the coast to coast without issues, other than the sidewalls becoming a bit scuffed.
Probably moving back to GP4000s/One/Pro 4 Endurance (as we're going into autumn).
Yes, feel like a more expensive tyres.
