Aus has always liked beating England. It's ingrained in culture. And you lot fucking love winning the Ashes etc and letting any Aussie know it so don't bullshit me that you're not exactly the same as us. It's a long-standing, mutual dislike :)

It really isn't. Other than cricket there's nothing the nations really compete at is there? Aus used to Win some bike riding before GB started trying and we had one year where we won the hand-egg, but that's all I can think of.
Apparently Germans feel like this about the English football team. We reckon they're our great rivals but they have no sense of it the other way round.

Is it just me that thinks it's odd the Australian press are bitter about losing to GB at sport? They seem to feel there's some sort of rivalry that just isn't a thing our end.
It wouldn't occur to me to be grumpy if an Australian person won a thing. I may have even felt a bit pleased when @hippy rode all that way a couple of years ago.
