There looks to be a new bike mechanics on Lea Bridge Road - Blackstar bikes, which seems to have taken over an old courier firm's premises: http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1257/61921.php
I walked past on the other side of the road on Saturday at about 11 o'clock and it was closed, so haven't had a chance to go in and say hello yet.
