@dancing james has one

• #26628
Yep, and it's awesome.
-
• #26629
How small does it squish to? Is it worth it over the rain gilet for smashing down alps, or for autumn rides that turn a bit nippy?
-
• #26630
Rolls up and fits in a jersey pocket
-
• #26631
Your better off with something that has arms for mountain descents.
-

Current go-to is the race cape.
I'd be happy with a (race cape-like) gilet & arm warmers, as they'd be easier to pack into separate pockets, without having to do some pro level origami.
-
• #26633
If you have the race cape for cold you would nicely have a lighter gilet with arm warmers for chilly?
-
• #26634
Just buy the insulated anyway then you can choose between three.
-
• #26635
I had a race cape descending the Tourmalet but the problem was it didn't keep me warm at the top waiting for my mate prior to descending.
-
• #26636
Next trip I'd definitely go with riders that are as fast as you.
-
• #26637
wind jacket is good for decents and i can pack it much smaller than my race cape, rain gilet or insulated brevet gilet.
Insulted gilet and wind jacket are both essential items IMHO.

Insulted gilet
The armless bastard

I now have the neoshell arm warmers from sportful. they are pretty awesome.
Been using my race cape less now. reckon a pt rain gilet would work lovely with them.
I like the idea of a short sleeved packable.

I don't like the sound of the two way zip on the pt rain gilet. That sport full one looks good.
-
• #26645
Used a normal brevet gilet over super lightweight jersey and merino arm warmers for descending this summer in Switzerland and was fine. Not sufficient for Stelvio, also because of unexpected rain.
-
• #26646
Pro Team Rain gilet has normal zip.

Looks like more stock has been put onto the Rapha sale.
@TW including the Pro Team Rain Gilet in L. -

Dagnammit - I've already spent my allowance.
I suppose I could get it delivered to the office...
-
• #26649
Pro Team Rain Gilet looks well good, is it?

Just scooted over to the sale page.
Wind water resistant tight fitting gilet for when it gets murky. awesome.
Black only. Idiotic.
I officially give up on Rapha.
Re: GT gloves, remember to apply leather balm.
Insulated Brevet Gilet not on sale. :(
Does anyone have one? Looking for something for mountain descents that is warmer than a standard gilet or wind jacket but packable.
