I think that one's another concept from academia or management school that people throw in to business speak just because it sounds more complex or nuanced than the basic word or phrase it's replacing.

Went to an info session at General Assembly yesterday. Woman at the back said 'benefits and disbenefits'.

GA is usually pretty clued up. that's unforfuckingiveable.

She did also ask about whether the course would offer help getting into AIPMM and other associations, which seemed completely beside the point to me.

She wasn't as bad as the person that asked whether it was best to do the Product Management course or the UX course first, and on receiving an unsatisfactory (to her mind) reply proceeded to check in on Facebook and denounce the organisation.

Commonly heard in meetings with high street retailer marketing team:

"upscaling/upsell/amplify" = make better/bigger
"i'll put some sprinkles on top" = minor adjustment/improvement

Kill me.

I've heard the triple click, doing a double click may be an invitation to discuss it in more detail there and then, a triple click will be taking it away and looking into it.
