May have been mentioned, but I missed it, do you know why the tracker dots are black now?

Mine are still blue

@skinny really is amazing ( #mancrush ) he climbed Furkapass with @TheAdventureCapitalist (#114) while @bananaskid (#89) was only just ahead of both of them. Now compare their positions on the tracker. The next rider up the road from @skinny is @Samuli... I hope they say hi!
Of the other LFGSSers, Emily Chappell (#7) has just come past Davos, thankfully she didn't follow the @Keiway#152 (#12) school of routing but she's blowing me away with her relaxed and consistent approach.
@CarlosBI must be considered the 2nd rider on the road (FreeRoute is obviously confused!), but it's mighty close between him, Neill Phillips and Peter Sandholt. He's ridden so strongly so far that I hope he holds on for a podium.
Looks like @frank9755 (#155) is following the @hippy route.

That's from the local paper where I grew up

I think it depends on which site you are using and what device. Dots are multicoloured when I look at FreeRoute on my laptop but grey/black on my phone. I can't see a pattern in who is grey and who is black though.
Track leaders everyone is blue on both devices.

As someone who has been planning on entering next years race since late 2015...
Fastest is a hard term to define. Over that kind of distance I find comfort will come in to play (as many current riders are discovering).
Current plans are for a TI frame, carbon fork plus wide tires/wheels. Relatively relaxed geo but with TT bars.
We (Talbot) can make an entire bike that's focused entirely on the challenge - so the riders morphology, the kit etc, I'd love to work with a luggage designer from a clean sheet starting point to look at how we could design bike, luggage, electronics, hydration and so forth as a complete system that majored on comfort at (long distance) pace alongside aerodynamics. It's a fascinating challenge when you consider all the various parts that go into it.

The highlight of the race so far has to be, IMHO, @Keiway#152 's off road "Descent to Davos in Darkness" last night. Three hours off road. Just inspired and inspiring. Madness.

He's riding fixed as well isn't he?
With skinny tyres?
Will Spartacus please come forward....

If you need a guineapig for a project like that, I'm available.
Budget might be an issue, however ;0

How likely are you to win?

He's well past that turning. Most likely route looks to be past Valdobbiadene and following the river up. Edit: basically the same route but going round the other side of that mountain.

he's gonna love these bits..... !

Would you consider doing the same with a mountain bike frame for the Tour Divide?

This is what I want.... I'm thinking of giving this a go in 2018 - spending next year building up with some 200 / 300 / 500 / 1000 mile multi day rides and want to be able to have system in place so I don't have a lot of the last minute equipment panics some of the others have.....
Lol.
