Used a 1.5'' adapter for setting the crown race straight, without hammering with screwdrivers or other dubious methods. Fork came with it, so I assume its needed.
Hope Kinesis are still kind enough to resolve that problem @TurtleRecall !

Hope you have some luck with that. Think some more emails to kinesis are in order. I know that quite a few tapered carbon steerers don't require a crown race hence my query. Did you use a specific tool to install it?
Anyway, just got shipping notice from Hunt about the 4season disc wheels I ordered. Bar some new contis they're the last bit I'm waiting for. Build starts soon, assuming the toddler gives me a moment!
