Cheers, some good tips. Similar to what I did in France. Reckon Google Maps for cycling paths will work a little bit better in The Netherlands than it did in France (though for the most part it worked out).
Maybe forgot to mention I'm based in The Netherlands, so it's all very familiar territory. Therefor I'm thinking of challenging myself by doing large distances, maybe try Groningen in one day and then in one day back (from The Hague). Should be fun.
I toured fixed in the Netherlands this spring. I can't think of anywhere better suited for it. No particular advice. I bikepacked covering around 80k a day at most and had no complaints.
Booking camp sites isn't necessary, they always have space for cyclists. We usually arrived after the camp office was closed and just sorted it out in the morning.
Navigating by google maps works really well for bike paths.
