no real problems with the brakes tbh I'm loving them, the arms are just further away coz of width of the wheel, they're not rubbing at all and the amount of pull on the lever is good enough, just a bit spongy coz of the flex in the rear triangle. no chance ill be changing to disc or canti, only change will be back to brakeless fixed. i think ill try the new pads to see if they're are thinner and setup nicer than the stock pads, I'm just struggling with pad position not having the spacers to adjust the angle of the pad so they're set slightly further apart than they should be no doubt to account for no toe in adjustment
Try the evo pads, having spare brake pads isnt a bad thing.
Also worth noting that even if your wheels are even a millimetre out of true they will rub.
Please dont arrive at the conclusion that discs are better because of this. I actually did the opposite of this, went from disc to caliper to mini v to cantis. I think I'll go centre pull next; which is what you should've done maybe.
