You can ask to have it hand checked at airport security but I've found that to be a bit hit and miss

Might try that! Just sent 4 rolls to filmdev.co.uk yesterday, scans via file transfer this afternoon.

Thanks for the recommendation on them btw, used them to develop a dozen rolls a few weeks back, saved me a load of money. Service was quick and the quality good
