I'd save £50 and buy a mju-i and get a round in.
I'll recommend this too, haven't got a mju ii but my mju i doesn't seem to be too bad for £15 i got it for.
Mju ii costs around £70+ unless you get a great bargain, but guessing would produce better/sharper pictures esp in low light. Would recommend the mju(i or ii) or xa(orig. or 2) as they are v small/portable and light.Pics from my mju ii using agfa vista 200:

Ace, love the 1st and 2nd images, especially the horizon on the VW bus shot.
I have an XA, so might just take that, but also don't really want to lose it.
Another question, has anyone tried Cinestill 800? Thinking it might be good for party times.

I didn't recommend either, just explaining how each differ in relation to your intended use.
I've kept copies of both... so perhaps that's what I recommend... :)
The nikon might be slightly more pleasant to shoot with, maybe. I like the finder and the handling. But it's relatively big/heavy/indiscreet. You can get a mju 1 for £20 easily so that's perhaps what I would do.
tl:dr: Buy a mju-1 already.

These are great. Nice colours and the light drop-off looks good IMO.

Hi guys. I'm pretty new to photography, so please bear with me!
I'll be travelling around SE Asia, and Japan for 6 months in 3 weeks time, and I'm planning on taking 10 rolls of film with me; 5 colour & 5 B&W. I'm an architect, so I imagine a lot of the pictures I take will be of architecture and streetscapes, although I hope I'll mix it up...
I've been practising with Tri-X 400 on my Ricoh GR1, and I really like the quality of the film. But I have read that Tri-X 400, isn't that great in bright conditions.
Does anyone have any suggestions of film I should take with me?

Nice shots!
Especially like the out-of-the-car one, kid with leaf, and toast.
Ektar colours are great, and "wtf" at the same time though! -

Thanks buddy, I'm really enjoying using the Leica, it's a very satisfying camera to use. Also all of these shots were done by estimating exposure so pretty happy with them all!
I like the Ektar colours, they are wild!

Slightly confused, you recommending the Nikon or the MJU I?
