  • A vote for desticker here. Loads of logos are fine, as long as they're the same font and those fonts next to each other are not good at all!

  • +1 for destickering. Unless you're sponsored, no need.

  • I like the stickers, keep them.

  • Will do the slammage thing soon

  • White or black Arundel Mandibles?

  • Black

  • First ride today, surprisingly comfortable ride!
The pro stem is rock solid, but appears to dampen vibration quite well, which was handy as the roads on the route was pretty rough.

Tririg omega brakes are great, though I have managed to snap a ball end hex key in the brake pad shoe bolt, any easy way to remove?

  • Managed to strip the other brake shoe bolt, so now not able to adjust the brake shoes without some drill work. Arse.

In the meantime: Duraace 9000 cranks & stages and put on my Chinese carbon wheels.

  • You're two spacers away from having it bang on.

  • I tried to drop the spacers out, but the stem doesn't give enough clearance to put spacers above, so will have to wait until I pluck up the courage to cut it!

  • You're two spacers and a visible photo away from having it bang on.

  • Move table, but bike against wall, get camera lower so you're looking at the bike rather than from above. Then you will have lfgss bonus points.

  • And some bokeh. Dont forget the bokeh

  • Cut steerer
    Find nice backdrop
    Clean bike
    Olympus 45mm portrait lens
    Job done?

  • You forgot

Ride biek and forget internet nerdz

  • I'm not sure that's how the internet works....

  • Damn right!
@Skülly, you're doing it wrong, riding bikes?

  • Better photo, probably too sunny! (sharp shadows etc)

  • 0.5 Scoblebrick™. I am disappoint.

    jk, coming out real nice!

  • U is CAv sized. :oP

  • Aim to be one Scoblebrick™ soon!

  • Haven't cut the steerer yet, but have changed to a pro vibe stem until I do:

  • Bottom bracket issues to sort out...

It has ceramicspeed bearings and the non drive side sounds a bit gritty and I can hear clicking. Hadn't noticed on the road, but on the turbo, the noise is driving me mad.

Currently I believe it is Specialized OSBB 61mm with 2 3.5mm Wheel MFG spacers to 68mm, with Wheel MFG spacers for Shimano, so a bit of a mess (though apparently standard for Specialized carbon frames with Shimano)

I've been told that with this setup, I shouldn't have/need any shims, but compared to my BB30 Caad10 with the wavy washers etc, that surprises me.

I'll probably end up getting a Praxisworks conversion BB, but want to try servicing the bearings first as they cost a fortune, which hopefully will sort out the grit, but maybe not the clicking.

    1) Empty can/cans of degreaser to clear the bearings in situ, regrease and hope this sorts the problem
    2) Remove bearings, disassemble and put in my ultrasonic cleaner with solvent, reassemble, grease, reinstall. I don't have a bearing remover or press, so will need bikeshop assistance.
    3) Give up - Replace with Praxis BB

Any tips or help would be gratefully received!

Other than that, watching out for good deals of Duraace 9000 gearset, when people upgrade to 9100, and have some Aerofly handlebars and white camo bar tape to put on when I do.
