The UCI need to invest in some yellow die and iron on transfers.

Because they're gambling by forcing the leader to wear a different jersey?

This is one of the Quintana hanging on the NS bike videos. See the guy on the right in the green and white (?) striped top, he looks like he's really yelling at someone over the other side. Wonder if that was anything to do with the incident?

No I was thinking they could get some furry ones and hang them from the motorbikes.
Might provide some cushioning...

Not a day for the skinny lightweights.

Now that has to hurt. Who was it?
-
• #1559
Alaphilippe. He was relatively unscathed it seems. Which is astonishing as that looks like it's going to end in tears.

@TheArchitect....that was your crash at etape! Maybe not that high but somewhere along the lines

Lucky wee sod. Looks like a definite dentist job from the photo.

I thought Sky rode in Bio Racer Skinsuits anyway, never used Rapha ones. Unless they do now that Rapha have a new one out?
-
• #1563
Yeah, they always used to use bioracer. Looks like they have a new in house one now through: http://pages.rapha.cc/stories/developing-the-worlds-fastest-skinsuit?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=NWL-FEA-TdF-150716-Men-Non-RCC&utm_content=NWL-FEA-TdF-150716-Men-Non-RCC+CID_f3a9bf02834ab98ae684352e704e396e&utm_source=campaignmonitor&utm_term=skinsuit

Caught up on the stage now. That's been very decisive for the overall standings. Barring motocanicals, I can't see who is going to launch an effective challenge to Froome's dominance. Which is a bit of a pity because after a very exciting tour so far GC wise, it may be about to get quite boring. I hope the other contenders keep trying, if only to keep the battle for the other podium positions animated.

• #1565
You could be right.
Froome should keep attacking though, just to make sure. And to keep winning hearts and minds.
-
• #1566
That is such a great photograph.
Needs a 'doing it wrong' caption.

Because they're gambling by forcing the leader to wear a different jersey?
(InB4Schick)I wouldn't have attempted that joke, and you should be ashamed of yourself. :)
-
• #1568
If he does that, everyone will complain of his dominance.
In winning, he can't win.

I wish I'd had a support car with a spare bike too!

Stage 14 today, 208.5 kms from Montelimar to Villars-les-Dombes. Heading due north up the Rhone valley into a block headwind. ASO have brought the start forward by 15 minutes to account for that. Will probably be a sprint as a breakaway will have a tough day out.

I'm calling a successful big breakaway, maybe 30-40 riders including Sagan and Cummings (obvs) with Matthews taking it.

A day for the sprinters I think, and Cav will be there at the finish if well protected from the wind by his team for the day.
Will it be Cav though? I think he's got a good chance, still looking to take another stage win before he pulls out for Rio.

Dan Mclay in the mix again.

He won't be trying to put a crown on this TdF at the Avenue des Champs Élysées?
indeed, lets wait for @xavierdisley to work it out :)
