Tweek Cycles have just told me that the Reba has been "discontinued" (after ordering one 9 days ago). BS, oui?

N/m - turns out it was just the 2016 model that was discontinued but they're going to send me the 2017 when they're released next month. Fair enough.

You're probably asking the wrong person :) but for at least one year a certain category was won on an SS hardtail so definitely doable.

What should I be looking at (new or second hand) as a replacement for the piece of shit Manitou Axel on my gf's bike? 1 1/8", short travel and plush for someone who weighs fuck all.

I do have some old, barely used Fox Vanillas. Currently set at 130mm, but easy enough to convert to 100mm.

Oh also make sure the steerer is correct - there are some but not many rebas for 26" wheels that have a tapered steerer.

Since 130mm is new(old? Are we going backwards again?) norm. Anyone have any experience with the new Yari's? Wanna build something less burly than my Voltage.

Yari is Pike without the charger damper, right?

Bit more like the Lyrik without the damper. I rode one on the G-160 I tried the other day. Seemed plush enough and stiff but had nowhere to really push it.

Yarp. Bit stumped on the pricing brackets. Yari's or I can get a used set of pikes and have them completely overhauled for free. Or fuck it all off and see what Manitou or X-fusion are up to.
